Pride Legacy Scholarship
$400

The purpose of this fund is to provide full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate students who provide leadership to and actively contribute to the LGBTIQ community at the University of Hawaii, Hilo and East Hawaii.

Scholarship was given to students who met the below criteria and selected:
  1. Recipients must be enrolled full-time or part-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at UH Hilo and be an active member of Pride Hilo, a UH Hilo/HawCC Registered Independent Student Organization.
  2. Undergraduate students must demonstrate academic merit with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and completed a minimum of 24 credit hours.
  3. Graduate students may apply at any time.
  4. Some degree of financial need, not necessarily as determined by federal guidelines.
